  • 1 tbsp chili paste Adjust for spice level.
Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz flank steak, sliced Tender and flavorful cut.
  • 1 cup bok choy, chopped Adds freshness and texture.
  • 2 green onions, sliced green onions, sliced For garnish.
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced Enhances the flavor.
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced Adds warmth.

Method
 

Cooking Ramen
  1. Begin by boiling a pot of water. Once it comes to a rolling boil, add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, typically 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Preparing Steak
  1. In a large pan, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced flank steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Making the Broth
  1. In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and chili paste. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Carefully pour in the beef broth and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer.
Adding Bok Choy
  1. Toss in the chopped bok choy and let simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked ramen noodles and steak to the broth. Gently stir to combine and heat through for another 2 minutes.
Serving

Notes

For substitutes, feel free to use chicken or tofu. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For freezing, isolate broth and noodles to avoid mushiness.
