- Begin by dicing the onion, mincing the garlic, and chopping the jalapeños.
Cooking the Meat
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until it is no longer pink, about 5–7 minutes.
- Drain the excess grease and transfer the meat to the crockpot.
Combine Ingredients
- Add the diced onion, garlic, jalapeños, black beans, kidney beans, and crushed tomatoes to the pot.
Seasoning
- Sprinkle in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until well combined.
Cooking
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- The longer it cooks, the better the flavors meld together!
Serving
- Once cooked to perfection, scoop your chili into bowls and top with your favorite toppings.
