Dip Base
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure it is at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Rotisserie chicken is convenient.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced green chilies Canned or fresh.
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust to taste.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For Serving
  • Tortilla chips or fresh veggies For dipping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the shredded chicken, diced green chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the dip mixture into a greased baking dish, smoothing the top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  2. Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes when ready to enjoy.
