Ingredients
  

For the Margarita
  • 2 oz tequila Use quality tequila for the best flavor.
  • 1 oz orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice Use fresh-squeezed for better taste.
  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • ½ oz agave syrup Optional for added sweetness.
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon For rimming the glass.
  • 1 tsp sugar For rimming the glass.
  • 1 cup ice cubes For mixing and serving.
  • 2 pieces fresh lime wedges For garnish.
  • a few pieces fresh cranberries For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix equal parts of ground cinnamon and sugar on a plate.
  2. Rub the rim of your margarita glass with a lime wedge and dip it into the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat. Set aside.
Mixing
  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, cranberry juice, and agave syrup (if desired).
  2. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well combined and chilled.
Serving
  1. Fill the prepared glass with ice and strain the margarita mixture into the glass.
  2. Add a lime wedge and a few fresh cranberries for a festive touch. Enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftover mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake again before serving. Avoid storing with ice to prevent dilution.
