Ingredients
  

For the Bread
  • 1 loaf 1 loaf of Italian or French bread
  • 4 tablespoons 4 tablespoons butter (softened)
  • 4 cloves 4 cloves garlic (minced)
For the Filling
  • 2 cups 2 cups cooked spaghetti Can use leftover spaghetti
  • 1 cup 1 cup marinara sauce Feel free to use homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Optional Garnish
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnishing Enhances presentation and flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter and minced garlic until well combined.
  3. Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
  4. Spread the garlic butter over the cut sides of the bread.
Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix the cooked spaghetti with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese.
  2. Pile the spaghetti mixture onto one half of the bread, evenly distributing it.
  3. Place the other half of the bread on top and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
Baking
  1. Wrap the stuffed loaf in aluminum foil and bake for about 20 minutes.
  2. Unwrap the foil, switch the oven to broil, and broil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
  3. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, use fresh garlic and homemade marinara. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3 days or frozen for a month. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
