Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter and minced garlic until well combined.
- Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the garlic butter over the cut sides of the bread.
Filling
- In a bowl, mix the cooked spaghetti with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese.
- Pile the spaghetti mixture onto one half of the bread, evenly distributing it.
- Place the other half of the bread on top and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
Baking
- Wrap the stuffed loaf in aluminum foil and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Unwrap the foil, switch the oven to broil, and broil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, use fresh garlic and homemade marinara. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3 days or frozen for a month. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
