For the Wraps
  • 4 large flour tortillas Must be warm for easy rolling.
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce For freshness.
  • 1 medium tomato, diced Adds juiciness.
  • 1 avocado, sliced For creaminess.
  • ½ cup shredded cheese Cheddar or a Mexican blend.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper, then add the chicken breasts. Coat the chicken well and let it marinate for about 15 minutes for maximum flavor.
Grilling the Chicken
  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Warming Tortillas
  1. While the chicken is resting, warm the flour tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
Assembling the Wraps
  1. Lay a warm tortilla flat and layer the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, and grilled chicken. Sprinkle with cheese and add salsa or ranch dressing if desired.
Rolling the Wraps
  1. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it tightly from the bottom up. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
