Cooking
- Toss the apple slices into the skillet, stirring to coat them with melted butter.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the apples, followed by the lemon juice. Stir well and cook on medium heat for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and caramelized.
- If using nutmeg, add it during the last couple of minutes of cooking and stir everything one final time.
