  • 1 cup sour sugar or powdered sugar You can make sour sugar by mixing equal parts sugar and citric acid.

  1. Wash your grapes under cold water, then pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  2. If making sour sugar, mix equal parts powdered sugar and citric acid in a bowl until combined.
  3. Toss the dry grapes in the sour sugar mixture until they are fully coated.
  4. Place the coated grapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Transfer the chilled grapes to a serving bowl and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftover Sour Patch Grapes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. They are best served chilled. You can prep them a day in advance for better flavor.
