Ingredients

  • 2 8 oz. packages crescent rolls
  • 2 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon for topping

Method

  1. Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Bottom Layer: Roll out one package of crescent rolls and gently press it into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, ensuring it covers the entire bottom.
  3. Make the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the Mixture: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll layer in your baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Add the Top Layer: Unroll the second package of crescent rolls and lay it over the cream cheese layer, pinching the seams to seal.
  6. Add Toppings: Drizzle the melted butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon and a bit of sugar.
  7. Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Cool and Serve: Allow your bars to cool before cutting them into squares. Serve and enjoy!
