Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully combined before adding the next.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the blueberries gently to avoid breaking them.
Baking
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop generous tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake in your preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are soft.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
To keep cookies fresh, store in an airtight container for 3-5 days. For longer storage, freeze them individually for up to three months. Reheat in the oven for 5-7 minutes to restore softness.
