Smoked Brisket & Beer Cheese Pretzel Bombs are not only delicious but also incredibly fun to make, whether you're hosting a game day party or just craving something exciting for dinner. The best part? This recipe impressively brings gourmet flavors to your kitchen without needing to be a professional chef.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of smoked brisket shredded
  • 1 cup of beer cheese sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 1 package of refrigerated pretzel dough or homemade
  • Kosher salt for sprinkling
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Optional: Mustard or dipping sauce of your choice

Instructions

  • Preheat Your Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). This step is crucial to ensure your pretzel bombs turn out beautifully golden.
  • Prepare the Dough: Open the package of pretzel dough and divide it into equal portions (around 12 pieces). If you're using homemade dough, roll it into small balls.
  • Assemble the Bombs: Flatten each piece of dough into a round shape. Place a tablespoon of shredded smoked brisket and a tablespoon of beer cheese sauce in the center of each round. Carefully fold the dough over the filling to create a ball, pinching the edges tightly to seal.
  • Boil the Pretzel Bombs: In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add 1/2 cup of baking soda. Reduce to a simmer and carefully add the pretzel bombs, boiling them for about 30 seconds on each side.
  • Bake: Place the boiled pretzel bombs on a greased baking sheet, brush them with olive oil, and sprinkle with kosher salt. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown, puffed, and irresistibly aromatic.
  • Enjoy: Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. If desired, offer mustard or your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
