- 1 packet 2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup warm milk about 110°F/43°C
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- For the Topping
- 1 tablespoon melted butter for brushing
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add the warm milk and melted butter. Stir until a dough forms.
Step 2: Knead and Shape
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each into a ball.
Step 3: Let the Dough Rest
Place the dough balls on a baking sheet, cover with a kitchen towel, and let them rest for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Bake
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 5: Brush and Serve
Brush the warm rolls with melted butter and serve immediately.
