Preparation
- Cut the beef into 1-inch cubes and set it aside.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until well-mixed.
Cooking
- Add the beef cubes to your slow cooker and pour the sauce over them, ensuring all the meat is well-coated.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. The meat should be tender and flavorful.
Serving
- Once cooked, sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For better texture, allow the beef to cook low and slow. If using chicken, adjust cooking time to 4-6 hours on low. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or frozen in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
