- Place the chicken thighs or breasts in the slow cooker. Pour the peanut sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender enough to shred easily.
Serving
- Once cooked, taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper as desired. Serve over rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
For best results, let it cook on low. If you prefer a different protein, you can use Halal-certified turkey or tofu for a vegetarian option. Mix the sauce thoroughly before adding it to ensure all pieces are well-coated.
