  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, sliced

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken thighs at the bottom of your slow cooker, evenly distributed.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until combined.
  3. Layer the sliced onions, carrots, and bell peppers over the chicken.
  4. Drizzle the honey-garlic mixture over the veggies and chicken, ensuring everything is well coated.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top according to your taste.
  6. Cover the slow cooker and set to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked thoroughly.
  7. Once done, serve garnished with sesame seeds for an extra touch of flair.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. When reheating, use a splash of chicken broth to retain moisture.
