Preparation
- Begin by spraying the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or lightly greasing it.
- Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, ranch seasoning mix, salt, and pepper until well blended. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
- Gently add the broccoli florets on top of the chicken.
Cooking
- Cover the slow cooker, set it on low, and let it cook for 6-7 hours. Alternatively, set it to high for about 3-4 hours.
- If using cooked rice, add it in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Serving
- After cooking, shred the chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker. Stir everything together and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or freeze for 2-3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat gently.
