Method

Cooking
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the sliced chicken, seasoned lightly with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  2. Toss in the sliced bell peppers and onions. Sprinkle the fajita seasoning over everything. Continue to sauté for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet still crisp.
  3. While the chicken and vegetables are cooking, warm the tortillas either in a separate skillet or wrapped in foil in the oven at a low temperature.
  4. Once everything is cooked to your liking, pile the chicken and veggies onto warm tortillas. Don’t forget your favorite toppings!
  5. Fold them up, take a bite, and experience the fiesta in your mouth!

Notes

For a chicken substitute, feel free to use Halal beef or shrimp. You can add mushrooms, zucchini, or even corn to enhance the taste. Ensure the skillet is hot enough before adding the chicken for a proper sear, and avoid overcooking the chicken to keep it juicy and tender.
