Ingredients

For the cheese mixture
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (like chives or parsley), finely chopped
For coating and decoration
  • 1/2 cup nuts (such as pecans or walnuts), finely chopped
  • to taste Black olives for decoration
  • to serve Veggies (like carrots, celery, and bell peppers)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled blue cheese, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and fresh herbs. Use a hand mixer or spatula to blend everything until smooth and well-incorporated.
  2. On a large piece of plastic wrap, scoop the cheese mixture and mold it into a round shape (or a skull for a spooky look!). Wrap it tightly in the plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour to firm up.
  3. Once firm, remove the cheese ball from the wrap and roll it in the chopped nuts until fully coated.
  4. Using black olives, create eyes and a mouth on the cheese ball to resemble a Skellington.
  5. Place the decorated cheese ball on a platter and surround it with fresh veggies for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

You can personalize the cheese flavors and use colorful veggies for decoration. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 5 days or freeze for a month.
