Preparation
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
- Carefully place the seasoned chicken breasts in the pan and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
- Flip the chicken over and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté until garlic is fragrant but not burnt.
- Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the garlic butter sauce over it.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of water or broth for moisture.
