- Begin by cooking the linguine or spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once it's melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, which should take around 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine (or chicken broth) and let it simmer for about 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet alongside the chopped parsley. Toss everything together, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Plate your Shrimp Scampi and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for that extra zest!
Notes
Shrimp Scampi is best enjoyed fresh but can last for up to 2 days in the fridge. Reheat gently on the stovetop over low heat to avoid overcooking.
