Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Lay the shrimp in a single layer on a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs, olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, and lemon zest. Mix until breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
Cooking
- Spoon the breadcrumb mixture over the shrimp, ensuring each piece is covered generously.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and the topping is golden brown.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a touch of paprika or red pepper flakes to the topping. Substitute fresh herbs with dried ones using one-third the amount.
