Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease a large rimmed baking sheet (about 18×13 inches) with olive oil.
- Place the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and roll it out until it meets your desired thickness. Transfer it to the sheet pan and stretch the edges to fit.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese atop the sauce.
- Arrange the pepperoni slices, bell pepper slices, and onion evenly over the cheese.
- Sprinkle the Italian seasoning across the top.
Baking
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice it into squares or rectangles, and serve hot.
Notes
For a quick option, use store-bought dough. Experiment with toppings based on personal preferences. Store leftovers properly; they can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat slices at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
