  • 1 cup tomato sauce Rich and tangy sauce preferred.
Toppings
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to add more for extra cheesiness.
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices Halal-friendly alternative: turkey pepperoni.
  • 1 piece bell pepper, sliced Any color of bell pepper works.
  • 1 piece onion, sliced Red onion or yellow onion is preferable.
Seasoning and Oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For greasing the pan.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning Enhances the flavor of the pizza.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grease a large rimmed baking sheet (about 18×13 inches) with olive oil.
  3. Place the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and roll it out until it meets your desired thickness. Transfer it to the sheet pan and stretch the edges to fit.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese atop the sauce.
  6. Arrange the pepperoni slices, bell pepper slices, and onion evenly over the cheese.
  7. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning across the top.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  2. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice it into squares or rectangles, and serve hot.

Notes

For a quick option, use store-bought dough. Experiment with toppings based on personal preferences. Store leftovers properly; they can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat slices at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
