Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes and allow it to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping until everything is well combined.
- Spread this mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water and stir until fully mixed. Add in the cold water and then incorporate the sliced strawberries. Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes.
- Gently pour the cooled strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
- Once chilled, slice into squares and serve!
