Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season beef strips with salt and pepper, sautéing for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to fit your tart pan and gently press it in.
- Spread cranberry sauce on the pastry, layer with Brie cheese slices, top with crispy beef strips, and sprinkle fresh thyme.
- Beat the egg in a bowl and brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
