Ingredients

  • For the Cruffins
  • 1 package store-bought croissant dough or homemade dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • For the Garlic Butter
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • For Garnish
  • Extra Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley or chives chopped

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Garlic Butter
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.
  • Step 2: Assemble the Cruffins
  • Roll out the croissant dough into a large rectangle. Brush the dough evenly with the garlic butter. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan, and chopped parsley over the dough. Starting from the long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces.
  • Step 3: Shape and Bake
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin and place each dough piece into a muffin cup, spiral side up. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the cruffins are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Step 4: Garnish & Serve
  • Remove the cruffins from the oven and let them cool slightly in the pan. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley or chives. Serve warm and enjoy!
