  • - 1 lb mushrooms button, cremini, or a mix, cleaned and sliced

  • - 4 garlic cloves minced
  • - 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves or ½ tsp dried thyme
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. **1. Heat the Pan:**
  2. - In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat until melted and shimmering.

  4. - Add the mushrooms to the skillet in a single layer. Let them cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes to develop a golden-brown crust.
  5. - Stir occasionally and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and browned.

  7. - Reduce the heat to medium. Add the remaining butter, minced garlic, and thyme to the skillet. Stir well to coat the mushrooms in the garlic butter. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
