Marination
- Begin by marinating the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour. For the best results, it's advisable to marinate overnight.
Preparation
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the seasonings.
- Add oil to a large frying pan and heat over medium heat until hot.
Cooking
- Remove each chicken breast from the buttermilk, letting any excess drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring it's coated well.
- Carefully place the coated chicken into the hot oil. Fry each piece for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
- Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to drain off excess oil.
- Serve hot!
