Ingredients

For the Latte
  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
For the Blackberry Foam
  • 1/2 cup blackberries
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or whipped cream
Additional
  • as needed pieces Ice cubes

Method

Preparation
  1. Brew your espresso or strong coffee and let it sit while you prepare the foam.
  2. In a blender, combine the blackberries and heavy cream. Blend until smooth and creamy (about 30 seconds to a minute). Strain through a fine mesh for an extra smooth consistency if desired.
  3. In a separate container, combine the brewed coffee, honey, and sea salt. Stir well until the honey is dissolved.
  4. Warm your milk on the stovetop or in the microwave until hot but not boiling.
  5. Pour the hot milk into the coffee mixture and stir gently to combine.
  6. Fill your glass with ice cubes, pour the salted honey latte over the ice, and top it with the blackberry foam.
  7. Garnish with a few whole blackberries on top and enjoy!

Notes

For a dairy-free option, you can use almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk. Make the blackberry foam in advance and store in the fridge for up to three days. Avoid boiling the milk to prevent a burnt taste.
