  • ¼ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature.
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Ingredients
  • ½ cup chocolate chips Optional for added flavor.
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce For drizzling.
  • pinch sea salt For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth. Add both sugars and mix until fluffy.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined; be cautious not to over-mix.
  6. Gently fold the chocolate chips into your dough, if using.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and the cookies are just set in the middle.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool slightly before drizzling with salted caramel sauce and sprinkling a pinch of sea salt.
Serving
  1. Serve warm or at room temperature, and watch them disappear!
