  • 1 loaf 1 loaf of frozen bread dough (thawed) Thaw the dough before use.
Garlic and Herb Mixture
  • 4 tablespoons 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter (melted) Use unsalted butter for better control of saltiness.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary (chopped) Fresh rosemary preferred for best flavor.
  • 4 cloves 4 cloves of garlic (minced) Minced garlic enhances the flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • to taste Optional: grated Parmesan or mozzarella cheese for topping Cheese can enhance the flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, chopped rosemary, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to create your flavorful mixture.
Dough Preparation
  1. Cut the thawed bread dough into small pieces, about one inch in size.
  2. Dip each piece of dough into the garlic and rosemary butter mixture, ensuring each piece is fully coated.
Assembly
  1. Layer the dough pieces into a greased bundt pan or an oven-safe dish, stacking them up as you go.
  2. Pour any remaining butter mixture over the top and sprinkle cheese if desired.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the bread is golden brown and puffy.
  2. Allow the bread to cool for a few minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate.

Notes

For best results, use fresh herbs and avoid pouring hot garlic butter directly onto the dough to prevent sogginess. This bread stores well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
