  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup cooked corned beef, chopped You can substitute with turkey or a veggie alternative.
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.
  • ¼ cup Thousand Island dressing Essential for the creamy flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley for garnish Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it flat in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, pressing the seams together.
  3. Spread the chopped corned beef evenly over the crescent roll base, followed by the sauerkraut. Drizzle the Thousand Island dressing on top, then layer the shredded Swiss cheese.
  4. Unroll the remaining crescent roll dough over the top of the filling, pressing the seams together.
Baking
  1. Place your baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) or in the microwave. Can be frozen unbaked and baked from frozen with extra cooking time.
