Preparation
- Wash the fresh raspberries thoroughly under cool water.
- Gently place them into a bowl and mash them lightly with a fork to release their juicy goodness.
- In a kettle or pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.
- Remove the boiling water from heat and add the tea bags immediately.
- Allow the tea to steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.
- In a large pitcher, add the mashed raspberries and the sugar.
- Pour the freshly steeped tea over the fruit mixture and stir well to combine.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness if necessary.
- Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it for at least an hour to chill.
- When ready to serve, pour over ice cubes in individual glasses.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and enjoy your refreshing drink!
