Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk or buttermilk for extra richness
  • 1 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • 1/2 cup Reese’s Pieces optional, for crunch & color
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter melted (optional for drizzle)

Instructions

  • Prep & Mix:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together your flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, mash the bananas well. Add in the peanut butter, melted butter, both sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until the ingredients are smooth and well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Add the Reese’s Goodness:
  • Gently fold in the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and, if using, the Reese’s Pieces for that added flavor and crunch.
  • Bake to Perfection:
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Bake for 55-65 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then carefully transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Optional Peanut Butter Drizzle:
  • For an extra indulgent touch, melt 1/4 cup peanut butter and drizzle it over the cooled bread – it’s simply divine!
