Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Mixing
- In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until just incorporated.
Combine and Bake
- Gently fold in the red and blue M&M candies (and white chocolate chips if using).
- Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into bars and enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, wrap tightly and freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds when ready to enjoy.
