  • 2 cups raspberries Wash gently under cold water.
  • 2 cups peaches, peeled and diced Ensure small pieces for better integration.
Other Ingredients
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 packet fruit pectin

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the raspberries gently under cold water.
  2. Peel and dice the peaches into small pieces.
Cooking
  1. In a large pot, mix the raspberries, diced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and fruit pectin. Stir thoroughly.
  2. Place the pot on the stove over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Increase the heat to bring the mixture to a full rolling boil and continue boiling for 10-15 minutes.
  4. To check if the jam is ready, drop a spoonful onto a cold plate. If it firms up, it’s ready; if not, boil for a couple more minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and carefully ladle the hot jam into sterilized jars. Seal them.
  6. Allow the jars to cool to room temperature before storing in the refrigerator.

Notes

For variations, substitute raspberries with strawberries or blueberries. Ensure to boil long enough for a good consistency.
