Ingredients
  

For the Hot Chocolate
  • 2 cups milk Can use any milk of choice.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Substitute with coconut cream for a dairy-free option.
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries Save some for garnish.
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • to taste Whipped cream For topping.
  • to taste Fresh raspberries For garnish.

Preparation
  1. Start by rinsing the fresh raspberries under cold water. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream, heating over medium-low until it begins to steam. Be careful not to let it boil.
  3. Whisk in the cocoa powder and sugar until thoroughly dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract, followed by half of the fresh raspberries. Let them simmer for a minute.
  5. For a smoother texture, blend the mixture using an immersion blender for about 30 seconds.
  6. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs. Top with whipped cream and the remaining fresh raspberries.
  7. Get cozy and sip away the cold!

Notes

Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stove.
