Preparation
- Start by rinsing the fresh raspberries under cold water. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream, heating over medium-low until it begins to steam. Be careful not to let it boil.
- Whisk in the cocoa powder and sugar until thoroughly dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, followed by half of the fresh raspberries. Let them simmer for a minute.
- For a smoother texture, blend the mixture using an immersion blender for about 30 seconds.
- Pour the hot chocolate into mugs. Top with whipped cream and the remaining fresh raspberries.
- Get cozy and sip away the cold!

Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stove.
