Preparation
- Prep your skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Marinate the chicken. In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces with the ranch dressing, minced garlic, and black pepper. Toss until the chicken is fully coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Cooking
- Skewer the chicken. Take the marinated chicken and thread it onto the skewers, making sure to leave a little space between each piece to ensure even cooking.
- Grill the skewers. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Add the Parmesan. In the last few minutes of cooking, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the skewers, allowing it to melt slightly.
Serving
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enhanced flavor awaits!
Notes
For a well-rounded meal, consider serving with a refreshing side salad, roasted vegetables, or creamy mashed potatoes. Consider adding veggies like bell peppers or zucchini to the skewers for added flavor.
