- In a mason jar or bowl, add the rolled oats and a pinch of salt. Mixing them together will ensure an even consistency.
- In a separate bowl, combine milk, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract (if using). Stir until thoroughly combined; it should be a smooth mixture.
- Pour the wet mixture over the dry oats. Stir well to combine, ensuring all oats are fully coated in the peanut butter mixture.
- Cover your jar or bowl and place it in the fridge. Allow the oats to soak up the liquid overnight for optimal flavor and texture.
- In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Enjoy them straight from the jar or serve in a bowl topped with your favorite fruits, nuts, or seeds.
Notes
These oats can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If you prefer a thicker consistency, reduce the amount of milk; for creamier oats, add more milk. Microwave for 30-60 seconds if you want to enjoy them warm.
