Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Gradually add the milk and olive oil to the dry mixture and stir until combined. A little lumpiness is okay.
- Fold in the grated Parmesan cheese and any chopped herbs.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead gently for a minute. Roll out into a rectangle sized for your sheet pan.
- Place the dough on a greased sheet pan. Slice the dough into strips using a pizza cutter or knife.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Try substituting the Parmesan cheese with crumbled feta or mozzarella. Avoid overworking the dough for the best texture. Store breadsticks in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
