Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
Optional Garnishes
  • to taste Cilantro for garnish
  • 1 lime squeezed for flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting your chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Ensure they’re evenly sized to cook uniformly.
  2. In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, taco seasoning, salt, and pepper until they are well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
  2. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken bites in a single layer. Allow to cook for 4-5 minutes without moving them for extra browning, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
Serving
  1. Remove from heat and serve immediately with your favorite sides or toppings!

Notes

Marinating the chicken for 30 minutes to an hour enhances flavors. Cook in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan. Adjust taco seasoning based on your spice preference.
