Method
Preparation
- Pat the salmon filets dry with paper towels to help the seasoning adhere better.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture over both sides of the salmon filets.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C), usually taking about 5 minutes.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned salmon filets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they’re not overlapping.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, depending on your desired level of doneness. The salmon should be easy to flake with a fork.
- If needed, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to reach desired doneness.
Serving
- Remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve it hot, garnished with lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
Marinate the salmon for about 30 minutes before cooking for enhanced flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes.
