- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, bread flour, sugar, and salt. Mix well!
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add the ube puree, melted butter, and eggs to the yeast mixture and combine with the dry ingredients until well mixed.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a warm environment until doubled in size, which should take about 1 hour.
- After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into equal portions.
- Flatten each piece of dough, place a slice of cheese in the center, and roll it up tightly.
- Arrange the shaped rolls on a baking sheet, cover them, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brush the rolls with melted butter and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly and enjoy warm!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days or freeze individually for longer storage. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
