Preparation
  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat, stirring gently to avoid burning.
  2. Once the butter is melted, add the entire bag of marshmallows into the pot. Stir consistently until the marshmallows are completely melted and smooth.
  3. Sprinkle in the pumpkin pie spice and mix thoroughly until combined.
  4. Gradually add the Rice Krispies to the pot, stirring carefully until the cereal is fully coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  5. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Pour the mixture into the dish and press it down evenly with a spatula or damp hands.
  6. Allow the treats to cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting them into squares or rectangles.

Notes

Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Microwave briefly before serving to restore gooeyness.
