Ingredients
  

  • 200 g of wheat flour
  • 100 g of butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg for the dough
  • 2 eggs for the filling
  • 120 g of sugar for filling
  • 10 ml of vanilla essence
  • 600 g of pumpkin puree

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Dough:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 200 g of wheat flour and 1 1/2 tbsp sugar.
  • Next, add in 100 g of butter and mix it until integrated with your fingers.
  • Beat in 1 egg until the dough forms.
  • Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  • Bake the Crust:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a greased pie dish.
  • Trim the edges and poke holes in the bottom with a fork.
  • Pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes in the oven.
  • Make the Filling:
  • In a bowl, mix the pumpkin puree with the 120 g of sugar.
  • In a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs and add 10 ml of vanilla essence.
  • Combine the egg mixture with the pumpkin puree until well mixed.
  • Assemble and Bake:
  • Pour the pumpkin filling into the pre-baked crust.
  • Bake in the oven for approximately 30 minutes at 180°C (356°F) or until the filling is set.
