  • 8 slices bread (challah or brioche) Thicker slices work best.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
  2. Dip each slice of bread into the pumpkin mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of butter or oil.
  2. Place the soaked bread slices onto the skillet, cooking until golden brown on each side (about 3-4 minutes per side).
