  • 1 cup brown sugar Packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Semi-sweet or dark

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
  7. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Let cool for 10 minutes, then lift out using the parchment and cool on a wire rack.
  3. Slice into squares and enjoy!
