Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until fully combined and smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture while folding gently until no streaks of flour remain.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Refrigerate for a week or freeze wrapped tightly for up to 3 months. To reheat, microwave for 15-20 seconds.
