  • Braid the Pastry: Start braiding the pastry by crossing the strips from one side to the other, covering the chocolate completely.
  • Egg Wash: Beat the egg and brush it over the entire braid to give it a lovely, golden shine. Sprinkle with chopped almonds or a touch of sugar or cinnamon for extra sweetness.
