Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into sticks, aiming for about 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato sticks with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional spices until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the potato sticks in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
Cooking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, flipping the sticks halfway through cooking.
  2. Look for a golden-brown color to indicate they are ready.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven, let them cool slightly, and serve with your favorite dipping sauces!

Notes

If leftovers are available, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10-15 minutes to regain crispiness.
