Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving about half an inch around the edges.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, add your favorite toppings, and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
- Tightly roll the dough from one long edge into a log shape.
- Cut the rolled dough into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 2 inches thick.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush the tops with olive oil, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes and serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes. You can freeze uncooked rolls for up to 2 months.
